Course Description
This self-paced online course builds upon the foundational concepts and material presented in the Introduction to Ketamine Assisted EMDR Therapy course, which is a prerequisite for enrollment. Designed for EMDR clinicians who have completed the introductory KA-EMDR™ course, this advanced course focuses on refining and optimizing implementation of the KA-EMDR™ model.
Participants will deepen their understanding of how low-dose ketamine may enhance the therapeutic process during EMDR and learn practical strategies to leverage these effects. Emphasis is placed on developing more effective case conceptualization, identifying salient treatment targets, and maximizing the therapeutic conditions that support adaptive information processing and memory reconsolidation to produce transformational change.
Learning is supported through video lectures, clinical demonstrations, detailed case examples, downloadable clinical tools, and practical guidance developed from the instructors' extensive experience implementing, teaching, and consulting clinicians in the KA-EMDR™ model. The course addresses the most common challenges clinicians encounter in practice and provides strategies to increase confidence and effectiveness. The course is focused on adult clients.
Completing this course is one of the required steps of our training program in order to be listed on our Therapist Directory.
